Lisa Rosemond, Atlanta Georgia

Voice Instructor

Lisa Rosemond has been singing as long as she can remember. Growing up she was your typical chorus nerd, singing every chance she got. Lisa graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree of Music in Vocal Performance from Wesleyan College. During that time, she also toured with various performing groups and appeared in original and well-known musical theater shows. Upon graduating in 1987, Lisa realized that she sounded like ‘every other soprano singer out there’ and sought help to find her own voice as an artist. After finding a good coach, Lisa developed her ‘vocal thumbprint,’ and along the way, also discovered that she could write her own music.

In 1991, Lisa became certified to teach music in public school and founded a children’s choir at her local church. She is a worship leader for both adults and children, and has been the musical director and vocal coach for a small musical theater group for the last 12 years. In 2015, Lisa was voted Atlanta’s favorite vocal coach by Backstage Magazine. She has been teaching in the Atlanta area for the past sixteen years. Her clients include many young actors, musical theater performers and artists, including Youtube Rap sensation MattyB, Chosen Jacobs (It, Hawaii 5-0) Owen Vaccaro (Daddy’s Home, The House with a Clock in its Walls) and three-time Shuler Hensley winner Parker Jennings. Lisa has also had contestants on the X Factor and The Voice. In addition to vocal coaching, Lisa enjoys voiceover work and has added voiceover coaching to her resume.
